A yellow green shoulder seal quart embossed on the front: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858", and on the reverse side with a large "CFJCO" monogram. Sparkling glass without damage or stains. The ground mouth has some edge flaking, some of which are not yet detached. Comes with a good old lugged CFJCO zinc cap. Base: a backwards-embossed "A47".
