A half gallon shoulder seal jar in bright yellow. Embossed with a Hero Cross above: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Great color is nearly a pure yellow without green tones or amber tones. Sharp embossing. No damage other than edge flaking off the ground mouth. Comes with a correct Hero Cross zinc cap. Base: Hero date encircling "141". A great looking colored 1858 jar.
