An early tin fruit jar filling stand. Retains the original darkened paper label, which reads in part: "THE MERRITT IMPROVED CAN FILLER PATENT APPLIED FOR MANUFACTURED BY THE ELECTRIC OIL STOVE Co HOMER MICHIGAN". The funnel is mounted on a sliding rack to adjust for the height of the jar being filled. Good clean condition with very little rust. Rare, and the first example we've ever seen.
