DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  AMBER

Closure: original yellow glass lid and original wire clamp

Appearance: sparkling glass with a hammered whittle effect all over

Condition:  shallow chipping of the ground mouth and a thin flake on top of the sealing ledge

Embossing:  strong

Base: "GILBERDS 2"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: scarce with this degree of glass character
