Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass lid and an old replica wire clamp

Appearance: sparkling glass, has a skin-deep open bubble above "VALVE"

Condition:  has a bruise in the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base: "PATd MAR 10th 1868" encircling a "4"

Age:  1870's

Availability: scarce early jar
