Size:  HALF GALLON

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass lid and a replica metal clamp

Appearance: seedy and crude glass character and sparkling

Condition:  normal edge flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base:  unmarked

Age:  1860's

Availability: scarce early jar and a great-looking example
