Size:  QUART

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass cap insert and original zinc band (band will not tighten down firmly)

Appearance: seedy and sparkling glass character

Condition:  edge flaking on the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base:  unmarked

Age:  1870's

Availability: a scarce early western jar and a fine-looking specimen
