Closure:  all original with correct glass lid (edge chips) and 2-piece iron clamp assembly

Appearance: shiny glass

Condition:  edge chipping on the ground mouth

Embossing:  light

Base:  "4"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: a rare early pictorial jar and a nice all-original example
