Size:  HALF GALLON

Color: CLEAR

Closure:  original correct unmarked glass lid and original wire clamp assembly

Appearance: a light freckling of haze

Condition:  normal flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  medium

Base:  "PUTNAM 287"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: very scarce in clear glass
