DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color: clear with a slight amethyst tint

Closure:  original high-finned glass lid and original shaped iron wire clamp

Appearance: sparkling glass

Condition:  excellent including a nice ground mouth with very little nicking

Embossing:  strong

Base:  unmarked

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: uncommon and a fantastic near-perfect example
