Closure:  reproduction metal closure

Appearance: shiny glass

Condition:  chip under one of the neck ramps as shown, excellent ground lip with very little nicking

Embossing:  strong

Base:  unmarked

Age:  1860's

Availability: a scarce early Hemingray-made jar
