DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure:  Ball Bros Buffalo glass insert and a zinc screw band (edge chips on glass lid)

Appearance: sparkling glass

Condition:  edge flaking on the ground mouth

Embossing:  medium

Base:  "4"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: scarce early Ball jar made in a mold that was re-cut from an earlier "THE BALL PAT APLD FOR" mold
