Closure:  Hero Glass Works amber glass insert and a zinc screw band (bruise on bottom edge of glass insert)

Appearance: shiny glass

Condition:  edge flaking on the ground mouth

Embossing:  medium

Base:  "J57"

Age:  late 1800's
