DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color: AQUAMARINE with some subtle darker thread-like swirls

Closure: push-down style grooved ring mouth finish made for a tin cap sealed with wax

Appearance: shiny

Condition: normal flaking of the ground mouth

Strength of embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age: c1860's

Availability: rare, only the 2nd half gallon sized example we've seen
