DESCRIPTION

Size:  QUART

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure: correct original zinc cap with impressed patent dates, with original glass liner, and original narrow style zinc screw band

Appearance: shiny with a nice light whittled effect

Condition: flaking of the ground mouth, the original narrow Betts band has some pinholing and some white oxidation on the surface

Strength of embossing: strong

Base: "PATD NOV 26 1867" encircling a "56"

Age: c1870's

Availability: uncommon especially with original metal cap
