DESCRIPTION

Size:  QUART

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure:  zinc cap

Appearance: shiny glass

Condition:  edge flakes off the ground mouth, some of which are not yet detached

Embossing:  strong

Base: a large "G" with a small "IX" inside 

Age: late 1800's 

Availability: Scarce. The "G" logo on the base is thought to refer to the Gayner Glass Co of Salem, NJ
