Closure: original glass lid and old shaped iron wire clamp, which looks old but is probably a reproduction

Appearance: shiny, with a light trace of inside deposit

Condition: nicking on the bottom edge of the glass lid, nice ground mouth with very little flaking

Strength of embossing: strong

Base: "PAT APD FOR"

Age: late 1800's

Availability: scarce in pint size
