DESCRIPTION

Size: QUART

Color:   glazed stoneware

Closure:   Original cast iron Willoughby stopper (metal measures 2-3/8" in diameter). The original tin covering on the bottom plate has corroded away as shown.

Appearance:  good

Condition:   crazing, discoloration and a hairline crack in the neck/shoulder

Base: unmarked

Age: 1860's

Availability: scarce
