Closure: original glass lid with 1869 patent date, replica wire clip

Appearance: shiny with a nice whittled effect

Condition: pinhead-sized nick on the mouth, 2 flakes off the glass lid

Strength of embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age: late 1800's
