Closure: rare original zinc screw cap with octagonal wrench boss on top, the lid is decent, with some nibbles at the lower edge and a crack in the milk glass liner

Appearance: shiny

Condition: jar: flaking of the ground mouth

Strength of embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age: late 1800's

Availability: scarce with original cap
