DESCRIPTION

Size: QUART

Color: MEDIUM COBALT BLUE

Closure: heavy applied ring collar mouth for a stopper closure, measures about 2-5/8 inches inside diameter

Appearance: sparkling and whittled glass

Condition: one thin prying chip on the outer surface of the applied mouth as shown

Base: reddish iron pontil scar

Age: 1850's

Availability: rare in this gorgeous color, probably blown in the Pittsburgh Glass manufacturing district
