A half gallon shoulder seal jar that is embossed on the front with a Hero Cross above "MASONS PATENT NOV 30^TH 1858". Great color that is a rich yellow with some very subtle amber swirling. Shiny glass but note that there's a chip w/ J-shaped crack in the threaded mouth in back. No other problems. On the base: Hero date circling 208.
