DESCRIPTION

Size: HALF GALLON

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure: push-down style grooved ring wax sealer mouth finish with a ground lip

Appearance: shiny glass, and has a subtle amber streak running all the way up the back

Condition: no damage, has a black mark in the base that at first glance looks like a small crack, but on close inspection is actually a line of tiny dark bubbles

Embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age: c1865

Availability: rare in this large size
