Color:  CAST IRON

Closure:  excellent replica closure made of cast iron

Appearance:  oxidized surface

Condition:  solid, losses to the enameled lining

Embossing:  strongly raised lettering (highlighted in white by a previous collector)

Base: mold sprue

Age:  c1860
