Closure:  original glass lid with 1888 patent date and original 3-piece metal clamp assembly

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  normal roughness and flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  very strong

Base: unmarked

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  scarce and a beautiful example
