Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass lid (light cornflower blue) and original cast iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  flaking off the outer ring of the mouth as shown

Embossing:  strong

Base: unmarked

Age:  c1870's

Availability:  scarce and a great-looking example
