Closure:  rare original unlined zinc cap with wrench lugs on top and impressed "GILLINDER & BENNETT PATD AUG 8 1865"

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  normal flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base: unmarked

Age:  c1865-1870
