A clear (colorless) quart embossed: THE MASCOT TRADE MARK PATD IMPROVED. Strong embossed and shiny glass. The jar is hand-blown but has a fire-polished lip instead of a ground lip, which is very unusual. Comes with the white milk glass immerser insert with embossed patent dates. The jar is in fairly good shape, except with a number of fisheye type defects and small surface flakes that seem to be common to this series.  Base: H23.
