An aqua midget pint embossed in a circular arrangement: FRANKLIN FRUIT JAR. The embossed lettering is strongly raised. An all original and complete example which is scarce to find. Correct original small size glass insert with 1865 patent date, and original rare small size zinc band closure. The band has been restored and looks great and fits perfect. No damage or stains on the jar other than the normal minor ground rim edge flaking. Base: unmarked.
