DESCRIPTION

Size:  QUART

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure:  push down style grooved ring wax sealer mouth finish with a ground lip

Appearance:  crude and sparkling glass, with content deposit in the base

Condition:  normal nicking of the ground mouth

Embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age:  c1865

Availability: scarce and a beautiful example of this primitive early jar
