DESCRIPTION

Size: HALF GALLON

Color: LIGHT AMBER

Closure:  original glass lid (edge chips) and original 3-piece iron clamp assembly

Appearance:  Hammered whittle effect, rare to find in a Globe jar. Has a trace of content deposit.

Condition:  edge chipping of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base: "6" over an "s"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: scarce with this degree of glass character
