DESCRIPTION

Size:   HALF GALLON

Color:   CLEAR

Closure:  common Crown insert (edge chip on lid only) and a zinc screw band

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  no damage to the jar including a nice ground mouth with very little flaking

Embossing:  strong

Base: "8" and impressed "W BRENTON" in small lettering

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  very scarce
