DESCRIPTION

Size:   HALF GALLON

Color:   AMBER

Closure:  lettered zinc cap

Appearance:  shiny glass with an unusual stippled texture all over

Condition:  flaking of the ground mouth and one thin edge chip not yet detached from the mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base: "058" embossed backwards above a backwards "F"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  rare and a fine-looking example
