Closure:  original glass lid (edge flake on lid) and original cast iron yoke clamp with star-shaped thumbscrew

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  jar has no damage

Embossing:  strong

Base: unmarked

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  scarce and a fine all-original example
