An 1850's-era aqua half gallon bell-shaped wax sealer with a black iron pontil scarred base. Sparkling glass with a lovely whittled effect all over. No damage or stains with the exception of a VERY faint bruise inside the outer ring that is very hard to find. Large heavy applied ring collar mouth. A gorgeous jar and one of the best possible examples.
