Closure:  original GH HAMMOND glass lid with 1886 Imperial patent date on the underside (small fisheye defect on the top edge of the glass lid), and shaped wire clamp

Appearance:  areas of content haze

Condition:   has a small old epoxy repair on the heel as shown

Embossing:  base only (strong)

Age:  late 1800's
