Very few examples of this near-gallon sized Brinkerhoff jar have turned up over the years, and those few that have, often display serious mouth damage. This specimen from Phil's museum is the rare exception in undamaged condition. Shiny glass with some nice swirly character and no damage or stains. Normal flaking of the ground mouth. The glass lid (edge chips) and metal clamp are not original, but rather a make-do closure installed by Phil. Base: "E"
