DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: correct original cast iron yoke clamp with heart-shaped thumbscrew and the original glass lid with 1870 patent date, the small spring on the tip of the thumbscrew is replaced
Appearance: shiny glass with some scuffs on the left side
Condition: no damage, normal flaking of the ground mouth
Embossing: medium to strong
Base: unmarked
Age: c1870
Availability: very scarce, especially with a good original clamp and lid
