DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  unmarked aqua glass lid and a zinc screw band (missing a piece of metal along the bottom edge)

Appearance: whittly glass with interior haze

Condition:  roughness and flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong, and note the plated-out rectangle on the reverse side, probaby from the removal of DEXTER

Base: "21"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  scarce
