Size:  QUART

Color:  WHITE MILK GLASS

Closure:  old zinc cap

Appearance: good

Condition:  normal flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base: "PATd OCT 16 1888"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  Scarce, the jar was patented by Thomas Atterbury of Pittsburgh in 1888 view patent here and made just as pictured in the patent drawings.
