Closure:  heavy applied ring collar mouth for a wax-sealed cork closure

Appearance: whittly, seedy and sparkling

Condition:  no damage

Embossing:  base only

Base: bare iron pontil scar with "FA&Co" at the edge

Age:  1850's

Availability: scarce early jar
