A shoulder seal quart embossed on the front: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858", and on the reverse side with a large "CFJCo" logo. Comes in an unusual color for this series, a light cornflower blue with somewhat of a steely tint. Good embossing and in shiny clean condition. The ground mouth has some flaking around the perimeter with one very faint reflecting flash in the upper threads. Base a backwards-embossed: "A278".
