An aqua quart No 3 Brinkerhoff jar with good sharp embossing on both sides and sparkling glass throughout. Good condition with the exception of a chip running along the ground mouth and sealing ledge as shown, which has not yet detached. This is covered by the closure and not visible on display. The closure is apparently a make-do, with an early glass-lined metal cap and a replica wire clamp assembly. Base: "B". A rare Ohio jar and a great-looking example.
This item is from the Philip Robinson Museum collection.
