DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  LIGHT BLUE-AQUA

Closure:  correct button insert (bruise on lower edge of lid) and a zinc screw band

Appearance: shiny glass

Condition:  roughness and flaking of the ground mouth all around

Embossing:  strong lettering and strong pictorial, note the cross-hatched tail

Base: "5"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: uncommon and a great looking jar
