A greenish quart-sized example with great crude glass character. The mouth is crudely applied and the body of the jar is filled with tiny seed bubbles. Comes with the extremely scarce correct original embossed glass lid (no wire clamp). The jar is in unusually good shape, with only 2 tiny flakes on the outer edge of the mouth. The glass lid has some roughness around the outer edge. Base: "Wm McCULLY & CO PITTS". A very scarce jar that is a choice example, and extremely scarce glass lid.
This item is from the Philip Robinson museum collection.
