Size: QUART about 9-1/2" tall
Color: BLACK GLASS (nearly opaque olive-black)
Mouth Finish: applied sloping collar mouth
Appearance: shiny glass with seedy character, some high point wear
Condition: There is a vertical fissure or bruise in the neck, as seen in the photo. In spite of the very dark glass, the flaw can be found by holding the bottle sideways in bright lighting.
Embossing: strong
Base: smooth
Notes: Possible this could have been made by the Hemingray Glass Co, as the color is identical to other Hemingray products of the 1870's time period. Ex: Bill Dudley collection
