Sparkling glass throughout with a large chip off the outer ring in back as shown. Otherwise the jar is flawless throughout. Base: "N" in a star encircled by "S K & Co", indicating that it was made by the Newark Star Glass Works, of Newark, Ohio....Shields, King & Co, proprietors.
