Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass lid (hot contact stripe mark on the outer edge), and a replica metal clamp assembly

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  good, with one thin edge chip on the ground lip that is not quite detached

Embossing:  strong

Base: "4"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: A scarce and appealing early patented-closure jar.
