Closure:  correct original drop-in glass lid is a make-do example in rough shape

Appearance:  beautifully crude, whittled and sparkling glass

Condition:  jar is in fine shape throughout with no damage

Embossing:  strong

Base: smooth

Age:  c1860

Availability:  rare and a fantastic example of this early New Jersey jar
