DESCRIPTION

Size:   QUART

Color:   AQUAMARINE

Closure:  Original 2-5/8 inch size cast iron 3-piece Willoughby stopple. The gasket is not original, but otherwise the stopple is in good shape. This large size stopple is very difficult to find.

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  no damage

Embossing:  strong

Base: unmarked

Age:  c1860-1870

Availability:  very scarce especially with the correct original iron stopple
